High Grade Chlorinated Polyethylene PVC Impact Modifier Excellent Weather Resistance Chlorine 36%
Properties:
Chlorinated Polyethylene, or CPE, is a very promising thermalplastic material widely used as PVC impact modifier in the world. It can greatly improve the shock-resistance and tensile properties of PVC products. Besides this, CPE is also used in building materials, rubber industry, electronic machinery, biomedicine, agriculture, packaing, paint, textile industry and packaing. It is chloridized by HDPE.Due to the molecule of CPE does not contain double bond, it has excellent weatherability, anti-flaming and wide application. It is mainly used as PVC impact modifier.
Performance:
It is white powder and innocuous. Since hydrogen atoms are replaced
by chlorine atoms, the crystallization of HDPE was destroyed and
becomes soft and full of rubber property. Because of the presence
of chlorine atom, CPE turns into polar polymers and has the same
polar groups as PVC. Under this situation, it increases the
compatibility of PVC. In addition, it can blend with PE, PS and
rubber to improve its physical properties.
Use:
It is applicable for PVC profile, non-conventional PVC, PVC pipe, PVC pipe fittings. It is also used for the soft products together with PVC, EVA or paracril.
